Blue Ridge in NC 3 Years, 10 Months ago
Beautiful day yesterday . Went for a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Blowing Rock,NC. Was around 80 in Hickory and about 70 in the mountains . Besides the pollen it was an AWESOME day . She ran pretty good but I get my jet kit in tomorrow Going to rain so I will have something to do . Wife and I are going on ride today . She is looking forward to putting some miles on here new V Star 650 .

Good weather up here again today if you make it up this far towards Asheville. Word of advice tho, the brp is closed around mount Mitchell and the construction traffic is seriously tearing up the access roads on the Asheville side of Mitchell. Keep the shiny side up!

We both got to ride yesterday . Didnt make it back up to the Parkway . We rode alot of back roads so she could get used to her new ride . She did awesome ! We took one road and i saw a sign saying " Broken Pavement "

She rides in front of me and I was sooo proud . She slowed , steered straight , Stayed in middle , because when they do that the cagers 4 wheels make dips from there tracks , raised up a little on her seat and did fine

Had a great 80 mile ride . Here is a pick at a station we stopped to grab a soda !
