Wanting some opinions 8 Years, 1 Month ago
I was given a tour pack for christmas, from mutazu.com. I am steadily trying to come up with some appropriate looking saddlebags. I am thinking the top open hard bags will look best, painted to match bike. But the other option that I am just tossing around right now, but concerned with how it will look, is the pvc saddlebags (studded or not). This is a pic of the bags I am looking at as far as pvc goes,

Of course these are $400 plus mounting brackets. I am sure I can find a nice set of HD Hardbags or similar for around the same price. I already have the mutazu side open bags, but not happy with the thickness of the plastic. They seem to be very cheaply made. I noticed they have top open bags but I have the same concerns with them as well. Just wondering what others opinions are about the pvc bags, the way they will look with a plastic tour pack and WOC fairing installed.

Thanks,
Michael

check E-Bay, I recently saw nice H-D Roadking bags for approx. $200-$250. IMHO, they look slick on a R*

Also I was wondering that which ever bags I do decide to go with, how well would ghost brackets or ez brackets work for mounting the saddle bags?

Well here are my Hardstreet bags mounted with Ghost brackets. I don't like the bags, but I think if/when I get around to painting them I will like them better. If not I might sell bags and brackets. That's yet to be determined.

Hope that helps one way or the other. Finding the right bags has turn into somewhat of a nightmare for me. Hope you have better luck. Look around alot before you buy.

I love my Ghost Brackets, if I had it to over again I would have put them on hard bags painted to match the bike.
