Broken bleeder rear capillary 7 Months ago
Well just another one of those days when nothing wants to go right. I needed to change the rear brake pads today. So I figured I would change the brake fluid for both as well. Front went fine, made it to the rear and the bleeder screw was looking bad so I took my time trying to get it out and it stripped out. So I went ahead it grinded it to a square and tried with vice grips with no luck. Then I ended up grinding the top off and using an extractor tool which took off the whole top of the bleeder and then it broke off inside. Now I am left with the bleeder with a part of an extractor tool inside that is flush. I used penetrating fluid during the process too. So with that being said any advice on how to get this out without damaging the treads? I added pictures below.

Have you tried penetrating oil and heat to swell the alluminum?
Do you have a carbide drill to drill out the extractor? and probably need to be using a drill press as well.
