What size pvc pipe for progressive springs? 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I've read through the various threads and can't find the actual size of pvc pipe I need to use with the progressive springs I bought. I know the length is around 6-6.5" but what is the ID/OD?

Oh, yeah, and does anyone have an undamaged fork cap they'd be willing to sell cheap?

Thanks

NJ

I'm pretty sure I have stock caps and a pair of extended caps that I got when I put the raked trees on my bike! I can check in the garage Saturday.

The new springs are shorter than stock, so you need a spacer to fill the gap. PVC is cheap, lightweight, and easy to work with.

ok so I had progressive springs installed a couple of years ago by a custom HD shop. How can I tell, without taking apart, whether a spacer was put in or not?

Edge, you would have NO front suspension and the front would be drooping down to the bottom of the suspension. The spacers are about 6 inches in length, more than the suspension travel is.
