Headlight assembly problem 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago

I have a 06 roadie and had a little incident and trying to get things back in order.. my question is in the headlight assembly there is a spring that puts tension on the adjusters to keep the headlight in adjustment.. I for the life of me cant figure out how that goes in there to hold the tension...when I took the headlight off it was just laying in the bottom of the bucket so if any of you know how the little sob goes on, I would appreciate it
