motorcycle boots 3 Years, 6 Months ago
I've been down and out with achilles tendonitis right foot. Saw the doc today and he said that I need to wear shoes/boots with a heel,so does anybody have a suggestion on a brand or model boot with at least a 2 inch heel? Ken

I have these and they are comfortable. Heel is just under 2" though.

with tendonitis it will keep coming back if you don't lift the heel. I need to find shoes with heels too.Ken could be 1 3/4 but not lower

I have a pair of MIlwakee MC boots. Good leather, the boot itself has held up but I don't like the harness that snaps over the top of the shank and snaps on the opposite side. The snap always seems to be popping off and it's annoying. They are also on the heavy side so riding is fine but walking gets tiresome my $.02

Ariat Carbide H2O boots have a side zipper and are waterproof, if you can find them. Online, I found them at culturedcowboy.com

I've worn Carolina loggers for 8 years now. They have a lifted heel and are comfortable enough to wear all day. Get a set of good fitting insoles for them and your feet will thank you.
