Thinking of buying a Yuasa 310 cca battery.
This vendor has a battery with the same part number, YTX20HL-BS and lower price.
Yuasa $116.23 + $7.50 shipping.
Battery Mart $77.95 with free shipping.
Input please.

No experience with that brand but my Dad knows a good bit about batteries. Supposedly there is only a couple real battery manufacturers in the US and everyone just puts their label on them.

I would stay away from Made in China batteries.

As I said in your other post I would go with an AGM like this one over a standard battery. The AGM's last much longer and they're ready to go out of the box.

A re-branded Yuasa will have the letter GS on the case molded into the plastic. I had a Battery Mart AGM in my SV for 4 years before the regulator went out and smoked it.

I didn't realize I had reposted until after I posted the second one.
The Yuasa is AGM. " absorbed glass mat separators"

Can't tell by the pic if it has the GS on it or not.

Just bought and installed a USA made DEKA ADM EXT20L (EastPenn-Deka Corporation) and I hear they are a lot lower cost in the USA than up here in Canada. Example: http://www.motorcycleinnovations.ca/DEKA_ETX20L_p/etx20l.htm
DEKA makes thier battieries under major brand names as well. Up here they last 55 years on average.
I prefer to support NA busienses if I can.
