Seriously?
That would pretty cool. The only thing it’s missing is the sound and that gets pretty nice after a short while (for me anyway). Tapped out in the power department at highway speeds and loud v-twin thumping at 80mph is something I don’t miss as bad as I thought I would.

Almost bought a F6B after riding Grant's and another, but this one blows me away. The plain one with manual xmission in either red or silver will be fine. I felt that the F6B really needed a 6-spd, and the multi valve heads wont hurt either. Can't wait! Trying to decide to keep the Roadie or not.

I think you will love it brother with the weight savings and a bit more power it should fly down the road. I really like it personally, I have less than 20K miles on my F6B so I will be keeping that for a couple more years but I can definitely see getting one around 2020!

so what do you think? I don't care for the look of the rear luggage but otherwise I like the look. I like the standard goldwing (F6B look) better. I also don't see a place (yet) t mount highway pegs.
Lots of improvements and almost 100 pounds lighter.
Edit: ok sorry, I guess I don't know how to post videos. who can help? here is the link.

Highway pegs is something I completely forgot about, glad you said something. I was looking at the pics of the bike without all of the plastics on and it looks like there is a plastic guard that goes over the front engine guard. Hopefully it will be able to be removed so that you can clamp on a highway peg. They build the goldwing for long distance travel so I would think that getting a highway peg on there well be a viable option and Im sure the aftermarket will come to the rescue with something nifty.

I don't care what kind of fancy name they want to apply to it, that's a Girder front end. Still not as much power as the new BMW K1600B.

Honda's version of the Girder front end. I bet it handles MUCH better.

I had a 6 inch over stock P&P girder on a Sportster. Much better than a springer that's for sure, but not nearly as cool looking. If your'e familiar with the Britton, it had a girder-lookin' thing on it too. If they weren't so damned ugly, they would be more popular. The only thing you can do with it is cover it in plastic, like Honda did here. The legendary Vincents also employed a girder, as well as Indian in their early years. BMW's Telelever is not a girder. The Telelever is a car front end stuck on a motorcycle. And it's really ugly but it works pretty good. Obviously, not too good, if you look at their race bikes, you'll see tubes. Safe to say the girder has seen a lot of use on a myriad of marques through the years.
