Hey from Oregon!

Just picked up a R* yesterday for a sweet price. Its my first street bike in nearly 30 years, So I suppose it is a late Mid-life crisis? Been into quads and side by side scene for many years and still enjoy that. Anyway, it's a 2000 with 43k on the clock, recall has not been done, and its going to the dealer on Saturday. It's by no means pristine, has a dent in the tank, paint is a bit faded and could use some polishing. New tires and brakes have been done and will have the oil pump gear done at the dealer. Still thinking about the Barnett Clutch at the same time, but may wait as it looks like a simple mod to do. Since I live on a gravel road I don't plan a show bike anyway, so it will fit me for now and give me a chance to see if I still want to do battle with the cages again.

Have them take a look at the oil pump drive gear, and upgrade it, if it needs it, while their doing the rest. The shafts on the the ones installed on the early bikes, have a tendency to break. A perfect time to do it. Shouldn't be any extra labor cost, just the part. About $60.
