Changing front wheel bearing - help 2 Years, 9 Months ago
So, I'm not a mechanic but attempting to change front wheel bearings. Removed the old bearings but nicked the Wheel (internal) spacer. obviously, I wasn't careful enough.

It's been sanded lightly with plumbers emery cloth to remove the raised burr, however the nick indentation still exists. As an FYI, my bike is a 2001 with a 2004 cast front wheel.

Should I replace the wheel spacer, or is it good as is?

If the raised burr is sanded smooth you'll be fine.
