If you have to have a midlife crisis I guess your wife would agree this is better than a Mistress...on the other hand, the Mistress might be cheaper

Welcome Aboard!

Regards, Ted

Hi DL!
My name is Rick, I live in Superior. Colorado. I too own a '04 Pearl White Roadie (It is a regular Roadstar, but the delaer put the Siverado seat on it (bought it used). I am 53 and just started riding this year, only regret so far is that I waited to darn long to ride. Hope to get a photo up soon and "formayy intoduce myself. This seems like a great site with alot of great folks who have a wide breadth of knowledge. Looking forward to checking it out and learning/sharing more... will probably be doing more learning than sharing, at least initially!

PS> The name "bluezdawg"... I love and play da' blues... "You gotta suffa to play da' blues!"
Cheers,
Rick

Greeetings from Colorado! My name is Rick... friends call me "bluezdawg" (Cuz' I love to listen to and play da' blues). I ride a '04 Roadstar. Only regret is not riding sooner!

I am very new to riding, just started this year at the rip ole age of 53. Bought the bike (used, about 5 months ago) and had to have someone ride it home was embarassing. Good news is that I learn quick. My youngest brother who rode quite a few years ago was realy envious, so he bought a 01' Roadstar this past weekend.

Look forward to learning/sharing with everyone (will be obviously be doing more learning).
Cheers,
bluezdawg (Rick- Superior, Colorado)

Bluez-

So I see that you "play" the blues... What instrument? Who are your influences? I am also a blues fan, I have been playing guitar for around 14 years now. My biggest influence has to be SRV - big suprise huh... but no matter how hard I try I just can't do it like he did. Anyways, congrats on the new bike and enjoy.

Grace and Peace,
BP

HY Guys My Name is Arthur Paramboukis, as you may have guest by the surname I am of Greek Decent (a Wog as we are known in Australia). I am 39 work in IT for what is now the largest Transport company in Australia, I spent the last 7 years all over this big Country of ours building the network and infrastructure to get it this size, this year bought my first Road star a 06 (Australian delivered which means it looks like an 05 in the states but with a 1600 instead of a 1700 like you guys get in the states.
Doc posted something for me a while back about that being because we are such a small market for the bikes we don’t always get the full range down here.
Anyway I have had the bike for 8 months now and have ridden it right through winter down here (we don’t get snow in this part of the world)
I drought the bike long before I realised how popular the bike was in the states, and I have already sent to much on the bike, new V&H long shots, Kyriakan Hypercharge with stinger trap door, re-jetted and anti pollution gear blocked and a custom made seat. Didn’t know I could buy them from the states.

Any way nice to be hear.
P.S.. also former HD owner, as some else stated earlier the only difference is the bike is more reliable and bigger than any new HD I was looking at buying.
