Can anyone tell me what parts I need? to replace? And is it the same job I just did, just a level deeper into the clutch?

Take it back apart and remove the clutch spring and disc. Lay it all out in some sort of order and it will help in the reassembly. You will find out what all is needed when it is apart.

Is there a special tool to remove the spring? Also, it's quite obvious from this debris that I'll minimally need new friction and clutch plates. Do you know the part numbers for that? I see EBC CK2351 and CK2363 both fit, but I don't know the difference. Also, I see KG Clutch Factory and Vesrah Clutch plate sets. Are there any recommendations?

No special tools to remove the disc and spring. Check with TimB at metric magic he can take care of all you needs for the project.

Now that you're doing a whole replacement...get the Barnett Kit...clutch plate, springs, etc...and install that...did it at about 39K and the bike has never run better...JM2CYMMV

Also stock frictions and clutch plates seem to hold up better than any of the aftermarket for most bikes.
