Bat tree 1 Year, 9 Months ago

I rode my sig pic bike to work a couple of days this last week. About a 30 minute ride each way. I took the long way the first day, so it was closer to 45.
The bike sat yesterday. It was starting a bit stubbornly, without its usual authority, so I didn't ride it yesterday.
Checked the at rest voltage just now. 12.37
Turned the key to on. 11.89
Pressed the Start button. 10. 5ish
I'm thinking it's probably battery time. I've had it on the charger earlier this spring, and it threw the bad code at the end of the charge. I reset the charger, it ran about 5 minutes, and pronounced it fine so I didn't worry about it to much........then.
What say ye? New battery time? This is one of the off the shelf AGM's from Auto Zone. Probably 3 years old, at least.

What is your charging voltage? I just seen that you said your charger threw the Bad code. You probably are ready for a new battery But I'd still check charging Voltage.

According to Yuasa that starting voltage is good. The resting voltage you show indicates the state of charge is a little less than 75%. Resting voltage should be between 12.8 and 13.1, according to Yuasa. 3 years is nothing for a good quality, well maintained battery. What kind of charger do you have?
Mine is always hooked to the Yuasa charger when at home and my batteries always last 6 years.

Is that the bike that has HC pistons? Or is that the other one?

You can get the Yuasa 310cc battery on Amazon for 6 bucks more. They ship them fast, except for the last one I always got them the next day.(I think the acid puts them in special shipping category)
I've always replace my Yuasas at 6 years, only because it seems like I should.
I'm sure you have a battery issue, but in theory the voltage drop when the starter is engaged could also mean a starter drawing too much current for various reasons.
(Hook a good/brand new bike battery up to a diesel and the voltage will drop too..)
