I was riding a mid 90's HD with a Springer front end, and an HD forward extender kit, and some kury flip out extender thingies for just a bit more leg room, when I saw my first Roadie. The very first thing I said to myself, was "Self, them there boards look fine".

I'm anxious to see where this rear fender brace leads us all... Will the rear fender be cut around the brace and sit on top of it?

The brace is just for a P pad. The will be no rear fender as of right now.

Re:Brent's Roadie Bobber 3 Years, 9 Months ago
Update:

So Amy and I drilled some holes in the frame where my seat springs mount and mounted up her brace. The brace works well but the .12" angle frame on the bike bends too much for my liking. So its either come up with some gussets to stiffen it up or cut it out completely and weld in something beefier.

Also I rode for about an hour Yesterday and my back was killing me after. My bars are still too low and have my arms extended downward to close to my feet kind of crunched up. I was hoping the bars I made would pull me back far enough where this wouldn't be an issue. So I may have to come up with a high bar design.... Or pull the controls back behind my butt in order to make it comfortable.... bars are easier.
