I use the front most plug wire. You can get the induction clamp on it. You may have to turn the clamp 180 degrees if you don’t get a good signal.
You want 900rpms +/- 50rpms. Set it when the motor is hot. Take a nice ride, come home and set it immediately. After it’s set, leave it alone.
Set it to the 2 stroke setting. Only one setting will be even remotely close to what the rpms are.
