I feel like my windshield isn't high enough. When sitting on the bike how far up should it come to work properly?

Thank you,

Steve

It should be right at the height to see over it (about the middle of your nose). I personally like to look thru it so I by a high shield for my fairing.

I am thinking mine is a bit low then, it doesn't look like most of the ones I have seen on here.

What are some suggestions for sites to get a new one from?

Thank you,

Steve

I can't help with a vendor I got rid of mine and installed a fairing when I bought my bike. Someone will jump in here with a good vendor.

Another user told me about http://www.clearviewshields.com/and I am looking strongly at those. They look like good quality stuff. You can get cheaper ones on Ebay for around $120 as well.

I need to replace my Fairing windscreen soon. It's flimsy as well as the plastic is crazed. The crazing only shows up in direct sunlight.
I have a 5 bolt set up and I would like to get one of the recurves. I have a feeling that may eliminate the vibration issues with thrumming from the top of the windscreen.

Just something to keep in mind - I have two windshields, a short and a tall. The short is great when I wear a helmet, but can't keep my sunglasses on when I don't. The tall is perfect when I don't wear a helmet, but when I do the wind buffeting is insane around 75 mph and up, almost to the point of being dangerous... something about the negative air pressure behind the taller shield and air coming up from under it from what I have read...

Do you have lowers? They make a world of difference.

I don't - seems from what I have seen most of them are not compatible with the big bar, they hit when turned, but I haven't gotten any to try yet
