We also have two new state-of-the-art fuel additives “Gas-Shok”™ for gasoline and “Desl-Shok”™ for diesel. They are a custom blend of industrial strength proven safe ingredients that are extremely effective when used with the new (E10-E85) gasoline(s) and ultra-low sulfur diesel fuels. They are acid and alcohol free formulas that have been tested and certified safe. They will not harm engine components or fuel systems and will not affect engine warranties.

USA Fuel Service LLC is a Punta Gorda, Florida based company with independent distributors operating in more than seven eastern states.

I have read all of that, have you ever tried it and do you like it? I have met one guy that raves about this stuff and says you only use .5 ounce per 5 gallons.

You said all that, we've read all that. WHAT DOES IT "CLAIM" TO DO BESIDES FURTHER DILUTE THE FUEL IN MY TANK?

quote from their website
"To explain it in simple terms we dramatically increase the ability of the fuel to absorb more oxygen during the high heat created during the combustion process. Therefore you are burning 10-20% more of the fuel and losing less of it out the exhaust. The fuel actually produces more horsepower, MPG and less smoke and pollution from each gallon of fuel"

I live 20 min north of Punta Gorda. I have buddies that work at marina’s, Snap-On, and towing companies. I do some asking around and see what I can find out.

"absorb more oxygen"
So your running the engine lean... Just depends on how lean whether its good or bad... And anytime ANYONE clams specifically "more horsepower" that's a snake oil phrase as JD would put it....

The fuel absorbs more oxygen? I was under the impression that the 20.5% or so of oxygen in the atmosphere supported combustion, and is generally not "absorbed" but supports the rapid oxidation (fire is just an extremely fast form of oxidation).

I've been using Stabil for a couple of decades with no issues, so the next brand X that comes down the road and "makes more power out of the same fuel and air" which is exactly how I read it, is just a new label on the snake oil bottle. So many companies are trying to capitolize on the scary language being put out there on ethanol. Don't think for a minute that I am pro-ethanol, because it belongs in speedway motorcycles and mini dragsters, and nowhere near my transportation as far as I'm concerned. I use Stabil to stabilize my fuel, and I use Marvel Mystery Oil when my top end needs a clean-up. This stuff, startron, and about 10 other products all claim to be free of alcohol, acids, varnishes and such, and won't hurt your emissions equipment or void your warranty. That pretty much makes them Naptha. Zippo lighter fluid.

Nope. Every other tankful I use 1oz of MMO and some Lucas Ethanol crap.

If you really want to shock your fuel add some nitropropane... just have a spare engine handy

I have not tried the Gas Shok but Star tron is good stuff. I can tell a big difference when I use it. It has all but replaced Stabil in the Marine industry down here and you can find it at any Marina or Boat place. Have to hunt for Stabil now.
