Re:What if Amsoil at a Good Price? 2 Years ago
okay, guys... my case arrived of 4 X 1 gallon jugs of the 10w-40 for Metric Motorcycles. I have 2 Road Stars, and my good bud has 1, so 3 will get used this Spring, for sure. The cost was $133.20, or the equivalent of $8.33 a qt. Plus my MA sales tax... $141.58 on my doorstep.

Contact Ernest Joyal of Woonsocket, RI at cell 401 486-0177, and tell him Harold Crowell of North Attleboro, MA referred you from the Clinic, and simply ask for the same price he gives me.

If you can get a better oil, for a better price... share it here with your brothers! That was the best I could find, and my dealer will do the same for anyone else from the Clinic.

I wish I had checked back and read this earlier, I just had 2 gallons delivered to my door today. Total was $107 and that was tax included with free shipping.

Harold,

I went to the Amsoil website and noticed the 20-40w oil is for motorcycles with wet-clutches. The 10-40w didn't say anything about that.... what's the difference? will either work in our bikes and deliver the same protection? I typically use Mobil1.

Grigby, the 10w-40 Metric Motorcycle Oil is described as -- No friction modifers. Wet-clutch compatible. JASO MA/MA2

Thinking about it, I can't come up with one Jap bike that doesn't have a wet clutch.

Yamaha calls for 10w-40. Victory and Indian specify 20w-40

Thanks Harold,

And thanks for doing the let work. BTW, if you can fit it into your schedule, you should join us at the Smoky's M&G. You can ride with me from NY down. It's a good time.
