Chrome piece around speedo 4 Years, 11 Months ago
I have wondering if any body has ever changed or painted the chrome piece around the speedo black or if i can buy one. When riding then sun will hit the chrome and reflect right into my face so was wondering if anybody has done it and wht process and paint you have used. 2007 Roadstar

I have been thinking about painting mine also. I know that they make some real good self etching primers now so that you dont have to sand the chrome so that the paint will stick.

I saw that chrome dash piece for sale in the classifieds for $30.00. Came off an '04 I believe. Always good to have a backup plan before you commit.
