My guess would be that the threads were possibly damaged before I installed the pump, Not a guarantee, but I was Pretty careful not to over load it. I had an Ammeter inline when I ran it on the bench to ensure I didn't over load the motor and draw too much by bottoming out. Only thing I can think is that while it was in the garage the Kid and his buddies could have messed with it. It is hard to say right now and all water under the bridge. I like the pump, if I can get it working reliably and Not pull a stupid trick like leaving the hose under the exhaust again.

Sounds like I might have a replacement lined up, thanks everyone for the offers too. MLHarper may be helping me with a complete assy. I am gonna owe mike so big before this bike is done LOL. I love the generosity of the folks in here.

How do you determine the hose length and where would you mount the pump? I ride solo, have the pump, but currently have a plug in the shock.

The pump mounts under the Right side cover, The hose is the stock Honda length, but it could be a little shorter if needed. there are some pretty good pictures on here in a thread somewhere that show the mounted pump in various ways.

Just watch hose placement.
