America's 911 Ride 2016 The Final Ride. 1 Year, 6 Months ago
Got home last night from doing the final America's 911 Ride with Gorilla DChopper 73 and Pineapple. I wish I would have gotten a chance to do it sooner. The ourpouring of love and support from the people we encountered was overwhelming.

I'd love to say the roadie performed flawlessly, but I'd be lying. A bolt broke off the sissy bar on the way to Somerset leaving a few nice paint gouges that are at least mostly hidden, half hour long times of crawling 2 mph caused numerous bouts with carb puke and then somehow ripped the wiring for my tail lights going through Baltimore. Goilla and I raced ahead 1 stop and got her fixed in time to head into NYC. All in all it was an amazing and emotional weekend.

Damn Pat. Sorry the roadie was feeling a little neglected and decided to lash out on you. Great cause and glad it was a great time though.

Pat,

Sorry you had bike trouble, but glad you got to ride. Very good cause and very emotional. I have made the pilgrimage to Ground Zero on September 11 a few times. Very powerful.

Bike troubles were just part of the adventure. They were overcome and the trip went on. Just glad it wasn't a Clinic event or I would have ended up "speep eligible"

That's pretty cool. You went right through my town, Leesburg. I probably saw you and you didn't even notice.

Yeah we do have a lot of military in the area so you can get a lot of support. We also have a large commie lib contingency here also so you can end up with a lot of haters as well. Glad you could do the ride. I wanted to but could not get my schedule straight to do it. Waiting for Rolling Thunder again next year and have decided to do the whole ride this time (weather permitting).
