roadie stalls out 6 Years, 9 Months ago
I have an 06 roadie which was jetted for stock pipes drilled to stage 2 and hypercharger. I put v & h short stubs back on bike. Been riding for almost 500 miles, now bike just started bogging down when shifting and eventually stalls at red lights/stop signs. It turns over and starts but kills right after. I tried twisting the idle cable to no avail. Help

If you didn't rejet after you put the V&H on that is your problem. The short shot are much shorter than the OEM and the back pressure is different. The HC is really hard to jet for and to me is a BIG PIA. Yea they look cool but that is all. JMO

My quess would be check your fuel pump and filter. Possible water in fuel..are you using an additive to prevent water forming from ethanol enriched gas. Sure you are getting proper ignition? Check plugs.. Was it rejetted or just left in stock condition. Someone smarter than me will be along soon! You will get alot of help if you follow the advice of theses guys.

Curt you showed up just in time!! Off topic but the polishing of the lower pieces is a BIG PITA!!! got to go satin!!! The white pieces were too small.

llyod72 a set Curt's lowers might help with the engine problem!!!

Check your plugs. Probably running rich and the plugs are fouled now.

You're gonna have to re-jet after changing from stock pipes to those short stubs.

Have fun!

Fuel Issues Not saying you don't need to rejet, however, from experience, you can be a mile wrong on your jetting and not have the issues your speaking about, you may have picked up a tank of bad fuel...also, I'd suggest a dyno test to jet correctly
