What it any benifits are their to removing AIS from bike. I have an 03 Roady 1600. I seen alot of talk on the subject, not really sure what to do. Go with the complete removal. I did it last weekend. 3 beers and a skinned knuckle, it was worth the time and effort. The front of the bike has a nice clean look. Removing that garbage just gotta help that. The kit I purchased (LA choppers version) had four items in it: 2 block-off flanges, a rubber cap, and a plastic plug. For the '08 model the only parts it appears you need are the 2 block-off flanges, one for each cylinder. NEITHER of the two plastic parts appear to apply to the '08. If anyone thinks I'm wrong on this I'd appreciate a head's up so I can do a proper install.
