Will a Yamaha 02 R*1600 windshield fit on '05 1700 8 Years, 7 Months ago  
I came across a pretty good deal on a windshield, but think it may be too good...it's a OEM shield pulled from an '02 1600. I picked up my '05 1700 two weeks ago. Does anyone know if it will fit?

Do you have the part of the mounts that goes on the forks? If you do, the shield should work fine.

Excuse my ignorance, I've been riding for 10 years, but only had Hondas...Here's a pic of the item. It looks like there's mounts for the fork, but I just can "see" how they'd fit

revtom & KAL! KAL, keep an eye on ebay. There's always somebody selling windshields & hardware for them. Btw, the hardware fits 'em all.
