usa-biker fairings 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago
Has anyone tried the fairings by USA-biker on Eaby? They are about $220
I am looking for a cheap fairing just to run during cold weather. I would just put plate over the holes as i'm not concerned with putting a stereo in it.
I probably wont paint it unless it looks really bad, then maybe a quick spray job.
I liked the gel coat om my old reckless fairing as it didn't really need painted as long as you wanted a black fairing.
I wouldn't mind a Memphis shades either as it is just a outer shell. I have brackets for one too if the ones from a Memphis windshield are the same.

Any review on the USA-Biker fairing would be appreciated as i'm close to pulling the trigger on it.

Looks good.... I didn’t see any brackets. I have a Reckless for about six years without any issues. Dave

it doesn't show them, but it says in the description that it comes with the brackets to mount it to the oem windshield mounts.
I liked the reckless I used to have as well. I bought it new off Ebay (from reckless) bout 3-4 years ago with no stereo for $300 or $350. Now it looks like they are only selling them with a stereo and they start at $780.

I had one, for the use you described it would be ideal. Fit and finish are fair at best. Bolts right up to the Silverado windshield brackets.

Let me save you some time if you do get one. The brackets attach to the inner half so kinda get that las close as you can then remove that from the bike, put both halves together then install it on the bike. I spent hours trying to get the 2 pieces together while the back piece was installed on the bike. Put it on the bike assembled. I’m 5’11 and got buffeting with the short windshield. If you’re going to do highway id recommend taller windshield and Wardens side deflectors. The deflector that installs under the steering stem would be a good idea too.

If you’re careful during assembly the black gelcoat should be fine with your bike.

Good luck.

If it's a trailer store one that's what I ran on mine and they are nice and glossy with the gel coat
