I had cobras...very sticky! Got 10-12k out of the rear and 15-16k out of the front. Depends on what u wanna spend.
Which oem's do you have? If bridgestones, theres no comparison!

Avons will be a big improvement over any R* OEM tire.

Re:avon cobras 5 Years ago
Cobra's are nice looking tires. I have always run ME880's but I picked up an almost new Venom front tire for a great price. My front ME880 is still good with lots of tread but it is weather cracking and I have gone thru 2 rears so I am tossing around putting the Venom on. I have never run two tires of different brands yet so I am not real sure about it. The ME880 on the rear is almost new so I am not sure what to do. Guess I could buy a Venom rear and match them up and sell the ME880 used. Anyone run two different tire brands at the same time?

I've got a Commander II on the rear and a Venom on the front. Rides just as good as it did with Venoms front and rear.

Its a standard FLH fender.... alot of guys are doing it, pretty simple. I have to give Blackrain credit for this one...he built it.
Basically cut off the harley bracket then just drill the fender to fit the fork mount holes on the roadie. You need a little longer bolt then the oem. Also a 5/8" spacer over the bolt between the fork and fender, as the harley fender is a little more narrow than ours.
