People run the Metzeler and the Pirelli in that size on the front I know with no issues. Don't know if anyone is particularly on the Dunlop. Our front end is very similar to the Royal Star, which runs that tire size as standard. Can't imagine it's a problem.

Re:wider front tire 5 Years ago
I have a reversed 140/90 on the front right now, original Commander. I only run it reversed because that's what I always read that ya do, but I don't think it makes much difference with the ply construction of these tires. 140/90 is the tallest 16 incher that is designed to work with our wheels, and I like ground clearance. When I go Commander II, I think I will go with the 140/90 rear and the 130/90 front. Another thing I like about the 140 is they are virtually all load range B 77H tires, and they are lighter weight than the 150/80. I don't know if the 140/90 on the front gives much to my handling now, but When my suspension is done, there won't be a doubt.

I guess the reason I asked was because I want to stick with WWW but I also want a wider tire in front.
I thought about getting the rear WWW and just reversing it and mounting on the front.
