sissy bar replacement 5 Years, 9 Months ago  
i have a 2008 silverado and i want to get rid of rear seat and sissy bar but when u remove sissy bar bracket it leaves a big gap between bags and rear fender. i dont like that.any help is
appreciated. i dont want to get rid of my bike but i want to change the look of it and it has been a pain.big apes and solo seat r in the plans. thanks

I put small spacers in between the bracket and fender...enuf of a space that I can get my fingers between them but smaller then the width of the backrest bracket. I also made sure I put rubber washers against the fender...dont wanna scratch the paint.
I also have 'genos' bag lowering kit...I think its a great look... solo seat and lowered bags only.

A couple more options.


Install fender eyebrows instead of the sissy bar brackets.
Fender Eyebrow on Ebay


Install a grab rail instead of the sissy bar. Steve (smhowse) made a few and sold them. You may want to contact him if you're interested.


I have several of these options and change them up frequently as needed and for a different two up and solo looks.

thats what i want. saw that on a bike here in frankfort a few days ago. how can i reach this guy? just throw a shout out on here?
