WOW that looks nice!! It almost looks like black chrome!

FYI, I finally finished sanding the bars today and will get them over to the chromer.

Sorry for the delays everytime I go to work on them something comes up. I had to lay off my shop guy and put my controller on part time so now I'm doing everything at my company.
I will post when I get them back probably not before Christmas

Steven

They look great painted, maybe he came up with something there?? Why pay for chrome, when matching the paint works just as nice, or better?

Cost wise it would probably be about the same for color-matched paint. Looks good and blends in on the black, but it would stand out a lot more on a colored bike (blue, red, etc.), especially 2-tones.

Re:Progress.....Grab Bar! 8 Years, 1 Month ago
update. The bars are at the chromers and they are supposed to start on them today. They closed for the last 2 weeks and didn't do any chroming I'm going to stop by their shop today to "encourage" them to hurry up
I have 9 bars that are being chromed. I will be making more bars soon.

Thanks for the update Steven, was just wondering about the progress on them last night. Not that I'm in a rush or anything...not like I could go riding with 4" of snow on the ground. lol
