Mustang Saddle customizing Ideas/tips 8 Years, 5 Months ago
Got the "plain" Mustang saddle, kinda getting bored with it....I'd like to add some styling. Thinking of fringe and custom conchos, no studs.

What do you guys think?

Anyone ever added this stuff to a Mustang saddle? Any installation tips? Links to sources? THANKS!

PS-I'll try and post a pic of what I got when I figure out how to , very techno challenged!

Conchos would be easy. Just punch a small hole where you want them and attach. I've bought conchos from a local place called Tandy Leather. They might have stores elsewhere though. They might sell fringe too as they specialize in leather goods.

BTW - I had fringe on my Mustang for awhile and ended up cutting it off. It never grew on me.

I considered that, or maybe a rainbow sticker....but I'd be afraid it wouldn't hold up to rain and direct sunlight!
