Will the Road Star start up and run if the instrument panel is not plugged in???

Should start just fine... but I've never actually tried it.
Sure way to find out is to turn the key and push the button.

It will run fine. Lost is the ability to check speed and mileage and the signals will not self cancel.

I've run mine without the tank even. Lots of folks are installing aftermarket gauges in fairings and eliminating the instrument panel. Yep, no problem. Won't hurt anything.

He doesn't actually have an assembled roadie. He's a doing complete custom build

Mine Speed, Fuel and TS Cancellation doesnt work anyway... and I have mine on!
