Actually I was making it Pro Street and the frame is too high. This will also fix the issue with me cutting the front end too short, so hopefully the frame won't be sitting 2in of the ground when I'm done.

As far as fun, thanks. But i think most of the fun is gone and now I'm just hoping I can get my poor bike back together some day.

Re:My chopper build 8 Years, 9 Months ago
I've been too bust to be on this project everyday but I was out there for the better part of the day today and I got some work done.
I started by marking cutting the frame at the welds

Once I did this I mocked up where it would ride. About 3in lower, and decided to build a new rear mount for the tank. The guy that did the frame work the first time put a cheap looking tab on the back of the tank which I hated. I have since fixed that problem. I marked the location for the new recessed mounts.

Then bent some steel to form the drop

And welded the bottom in place I like my goggles!

I cleaned the welds and made the second bracket but I have yet to sink them into the tank. I will get to that later, I have done enough.

What is going on with this project now?

Ground clearance needs to be at least 5 inches.

as you can see this is like many chopper projects, beat the fun right out of it. Great work, great ideas much much more difficult to bring to life. Now maybe he finished it, I have no clue. All I know is I have been involved in more of these kinds of things than you would believe. My last one is an example. I got it done, it ran and was rideable but....no money for the paint and chrome it needed. Sold it to someone better off than me. So my hats of for this guy getting this far but I would like to know how it ended up.
