Baron PMS screw fell out - spring washer o-ring? 10 Months ago
A couple of miles from home today and my Baron's screw fell out. I didn't even know it was loose. I was able to get it running with enricher full out and I made it home.

So I can get a new screw, but I don't think it comes with the spring, washer, and o ring. Is that correct? Where can I get those?

Maybe I'm mis-remember how it goes together.

Nope, no spring washer or oring, it's only the screw...and those orings are a special size. I lost one and never found the right size no matter how many stores and shops I checked. One of those carb sites might have it, I never tried there.

P.S. I'd noticed my Barons needle worked loose so now I just leave the 7 inch piece of fuel line I used to adjust my PMS while riding. I just slid the fuel line over the Barons screw and carb flange that surrounds it and it keeps the PMS from vibrating loose. I loosely secured the other end of the fuel line, to the carb mount with a zip tie, so it doesn't fall off while riding.

Back on the road! Thanks JD for giving me the stock spring, washer, and o-ring. He mailed it from TX on a Saturday, and I got it Monday! But it took over a week for the new Baron screw to get here.

And thanks DocV for the idea of leaving the hose on. I kept a piece in the saddlebag in case I needed to adjust. Now I just have it wedged in there. Should keep the screw in place just fine.

Would a Small dab of Blue Loctite be to much? When I re-jetted I was thinking about it falling out, This only gets me nervous about it again..
