Seriously WTF? Can't a brother just catch a break? 5 Years, 12 Months ago
I thought it was a blessing when I got my Roadie last May, now I'm beginning to wonder if it was really a curse.

I just got my bike running not more than 24 hours ago, after being down 2 weeks, and my 4 month old clutch cable snaps!!! REALLY??? I bought this bike to ride cross country. How I'm I supposed to do that when I cant even ride cross town? I have had more problems with this damn bike than *any* I've ever owned. I'm seriously getting tired of this S***!!!!

And for the record, pushing 800+ lbs. of metal around in leather isn't much fun either. I'd already gone to the gym today, I didn't need another workout. Thank GOD I was only a mile from home.

So, you're blaming the bike for the cable you bought?

I'm kinda with Tampa on this one. I'm sure your bike wanted to run and get you in the wind, but now it's all ticked off that you replaced the perfectly good factory cable with one that broke!

I'm sure a new cable will solve your problems.

I know it sucks doc but its not the bike when that cable snaps...step back n relax a few. If a 4 month old cable snapped theres something wrong with the cable or it wasnt installed right somehow... i.e. rubbing something or getting pinched where it wasnt supposed to. Where did it break at?? Lever?? ..engine side??

And it broke where? lever, down at the clutch? I know it seems it's all aimed at you,but that can happen to any of us. Hang in there dude.
