I went to Costco and bought a pair of Maui Jim polarized sunglasses for $80. I thought that was a lot of money till I checked the M.J. Website and they were retailing for $310. They are ultra lightweigt with metal frames and awesome clarity. They are also polycarb so impact resistant. I wore mine under my helmet faithfully until they grew feet one day and walked away. I guess someone needed more than I do. They might not be the greatest to wear without helmet. I have heard good things about WileyX as well but have never owned any myself so all info is second hand...Dan

Be careful what you wear covering your eyes - make sure they're shatter proof I've seen to many riders with cheap glass shattered in the eyes from stones flicking up from oncoming reaffic.

These injuries can be horrendous and life changing..... use quakity glasse with shatter proff lenses.

i own a pair of wiley x's. mine are perscription sunglasses, i have worn them with or with out my windsheild, never had a complaint. they are rated as ballistic impact, the military and police departments are issued these. they also come with a foam cusion that fits between your face and the glasses to keep out the fine air blown dirt and sand. the cusion pops in and out, so you have a choice as to wear it or not.
well thats my 2 cents worth hope you find something that your happy with .

I get mine from WalMart, in the fishing section. Less than $5 a pair. Good for the price. I buy a pair every time I go to Wally World. If you scratch them just throw away.

I've taken to wearing fishing glasses when I ride with a windshield.

The ones I buy from WalMart are polarized, plastic lens and best of all....they have a little stick on lens at the bottom that let's me see the stuff up close. Here's a link to some just like it on Amazon. Under $20 so the price is right.

Yes, I need "cheaters" when I wear my contact lens and these things are great.

I'm a big fan of the Oakley M frames. Super comfortable, no slipping, light weight, ballistic rated and a wrap around design, interchangeable lenses and prescriptions are available.

If you happen to work in police, fire or military, Oakley has a special program at www.usstandardissue.com

You can't see prices until they verify and approve your account but the prices are 50-60% off retail.

I'm a HUGE fan of Gatorz sunglasses...aircraft aluminum frames, polycarb lenses. They're VERY sturdy and they fit my big melon head.

I've got Wraptors, Radiators & Octanes...love 'em all! And yes, I even have some chrome ones...
