I have not seen anything yet on the 05, I also have the 05 no problems so far but it is heavily modded.   Logged     Ride it like you stole it, just keep the rubber down! Or you can call Yamaha yourself with the vin. There was a recall due to bad oil pump gear. Any Yamaha dealer can look up the vin or Yamaha customer service. Not all dealers used the punch mark as were suppose to.
