Hey, John, how'd that wrist make out... did it require surgery, or just casting?

It'll be a good 6 weeks, I suppose, before it'll be useful again.

Heal fast, and get a good attorney on your speed dial!

Re:crashed on wednesday 4 Years, 10 Months ago
I hate to hear stories like this. Heal quickly, and hope the bike isnt too scuffed up, though it is replaceable, people are not!

I've had quite a few accidents when I was younger, and still bear the scars from them. People, unless they ride, just DO NOT look for motorcycles, It's one of the reasons that I put Passing lights on. Also run a Kury RTB module, in order to increase visibility. I dont wear a reflective vest, but had too when I was in the military, but I do try to wear bright (Yellow, Orange) color shirts.

But I also believe some fault lies with the local law enforcement, as they DO NOT take motorcycle accidents as serious as others. I do sometimes ride on the perimeter around atlanta, which can be a bit daunting to those who have never experienced it before, and up I-75 from there to get home. My wife rides with me occasionally, and she asked me once, 'You look like your head is on a swivel, you're always looking around?' I told her I do it because, even though this is a 'LARGE BIKE' people just dont see you, that, and I'm always trying to predict what the other fool out there is going to do. Just like when stopped at a light, I'm always looking BEHIND me, as there have been many times I've had to zip across the intersection, or to the side because some fool isnt watching. Personally I would feel more comfortable if those on motorcycles could carry a pair of scissors...go up to the offending individual, ask to see their license, and then cut it into little pieces, and tell them clearly...YOU'RE TOO STUPID TO DRIVE!!!

Just a few thoughts early in the morn.

STAY SAFE MY FRIENDS

Damon

Oh no . Stories like that make me sad. I hope your wrist will heal quickly, and that you will be up and riding again soon. Sending plenty of "get well" wishes your way

Heal Quickly! I heard the best advice about riding the other day...assume you are invisible, and ride that way. Prayers going up...
