I am grateful for the efforts and foresight of those that blazed the trail before many of us landed here. I'm proud to be a part of this community. I've personally met many of you and look forward to sharing so many more laughs, ideas, and helping anyone in need.
Thinking back to Stevie's post....

To be honest I bought this bike thinking I would ride it till my daughter gets out of college then buy another Harley or Buell (owned a Fatboy, WideGlide, Buell) and found this site messing around one night on the internet. Will still buy another bike when she graduates but not as clear cut a decision as it used to be, and a lot of that is due to this site and the reliability of the bike. I ride a lot....I mean A LOT, around 12 to 15k miles a year, not brand bashing but I have to do wayyyyyy less to this bike as far as maintenance to keep it where if somebody called tonight and said lets head to Daytona, Sturgis, I would leave without a second thought. On my Harleys there was always that lil seed of doubt whether justified or not it was there. Havent met anybody off here but several live pretty close....Shamrock and Grinder are two I can think of right off hand, Im sure I will run into them before to long.

My time as some of you may know is severely limited. I check three sites. My local cars site work email, and here. This is a cool group. The most logical group of illogical people I have ever had the chance to converse with. I can't keep anything stock and I wanted to see how the R* scene was doing after a couple years absence. I remembered this place but boy had it blossomed. I am glad to be here, and can't wait to ride and bs with some of you. Our bikes I believe really fit our personalities, there seems to be some very extrodinary people here who to not give a pretentious flip about the brand of what they own or how they look when they ride, they care about the best , and highest performing experience, In their life and on the road. The roadstar is truly were the rubber hits the road just like a lot of the people here.
