Will these apes work? 4 Years, 11 Months ago
Trying to get this all figured out.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-APEHANGER-1-25-SANTEE-FRED-KODLIN-BONANZA-Z-CHROME-HANDLEBARS-HARLEY-BOBBER-/130855554461?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e77994d9d&vxp=mtr

Realize I will need to replace the brake line most likely even though they do drop to around 10

Any help is appreciated.

Yeah, you can make them fit. Just dremel out the outboard sides of your risers.

Guess I should add these will be going on a 2003 Silver Edition. My riser is 5 1/2 across and has the top solid plate with the Tach. The center on these bars is 7" so I wouldn't think I need to dremel but maybe.

I think the full center is 7 in but the step down is most likely spaced for harley at 5 1/2 in. Not sure but thats what i ran into while ape shopping

Ah I got you....Saw these bars on a Heritage Softtail and y9ou could see the step downs past the risers around 3/4" on each side. That is what I was thinking would be the same with the R*.

Love my new risers, they are just the ticket or me. 6" up and 3" and 3/4 back. Had to install 28" brake line and re-route the cables under the trees and up. Feels great! I've got 4" risers for sale if anyone is interested. They are from Aero-Mach. Will take $90.00 or best offer, they look brand new.
