Has anyone tried the stretched Harley fender and bags from mutazu to get that bad dad look on their bike?? I'm looking at doing the bad dad style to my bike but their stuff is kinda expensive for my taste,i mean I'm kind of a cheap ass when it comes to mods and money!! I try to spend as little as possible but achieve the goal I'm after!! I have their trunk and have never had a problem with what I use it for!! So any input would be very appreciated!!

Mutazu HQ is about 10 miles from me and I paid them a visit last year. The new HD stuff does look to be slightly better quality than their older products which didn't use the greatest ABS. That said, for the price, it might almost be worth it to strengthen the bags yourself by adding some fiberglass. Then again, I suppose it depends on how much you want to carry in the bags.
As quality goes, they're at the bottom end of the scale, but then again so are their prices and it just good enough to be useful. A number of people here have their older RS bags and trunks. Some have had issues with cracking, while others have not. Of course, as always YMMV.
BTW If you see similarly priced, no name stuff on ebay, more than likely it's Mutazu.

I had their RS bags and did not like them much. I got good value for what I paid I was just looking for something better and was willing to spend it. IOW its not a rip off but like Doc said its lower end stuff with a lower end price.

I have a set of their standard HD bags on my bike, and I'm completely happy with them so far.
No issues to report, or complaints at this time.
I got them on ebay complete with all hardware.

There is alot of similar stuff on ebay that are made of fiberglass and not abs. I would take my chances with fiberglass over abs plastic. I talked to a guy on the phone from a bagger company (I dont remember the name now) and he swore up and down that all of the softail bagger stuff fit the roadstar but Im not completely sure about that

Certainly, I would take fiberglass over ABS anyway, especially if you can find it in the same price range. But If I couldn't find something comparable, and price was a real issue, I wouldn't hesitate to get the Mutazu and for about $50 or less in material, line it myself with fiberglass. It's pretty easy stuff to work with.

I found that I could fit four 12 packs in my mutazu bags while vacationing in Oklahoma a few weeks back.
Plenty strong for me. Add some adhesive backed bulb seal from the home improvement store to the lids will stop them from rattling.
