I didn't epoxy mine on

Does it rattle? The instructions say to epoxy it on. I just bought a Bad Dad kit for my Harley project and it was $1,600 for the rear fender, fender eliminator kit, and 2 extended saddlebags without lids.... Went together easy. Lines up and looks good that's why I went with Bad Dad and paid $800 more. They make a quality kit but expensive. You can find them on Ebay for $800 but I don't trust the quality maybe I'm wrong.

see, there lies your problem. You're posting about a harley. You have to use glue and bubble gum to hold you're shit together. no it does not rattle. There are three bolts that hold on top and and screw and bracket that hold on the bottom of the fender near taillights]

Re:Bad Dad rear fender 2 Years, 10 Months ago
Ive done my rear and sold dozens of them for folks. I haven't had it any problems with it. I did not epoxy it to my rear fender. You can cut your fender of right above the lights, and place fender on top of it. Of course, you'll need brackets for the rear bags/fender combo to tie it all together. The only thing I did differently was extended the fender on the sides more. I just thought it didn't come down far enough.... but that was personal preference. If you decide to go this route let me know. Im a dealer for them and can help you out! Thanks!

I only asked because my rear fender on the RS wags so bad it looks like it's going to fall off... and I use glue and duct tape....

Don't leave out SS Custom Cycle from your search. Shane the owner is a Roadstar owner and has helped many on here. Bought my pipes from him and he was amazing to deal with over the phone, as well as super helpful. I'm seriously considering the BYOB fender:

+1 for sure... Dude answers the phone.... Who does that? I do as much business with them as possible...

You can get the Plasma Rods direct from Custom Dynamics.

No need to pay the middle man.

Knowing what I know now, I would have tried to fit the ss customs rear fender with royal star bags I think it would have looked killer and the royal star bags have tons of room and open/close much easier

That's my plan Grant. Just gotta get the funds together for the fender and lights after I buy my new duals. I'm just worried that the fender is gonna take some chopping to fit with my Venture bags...which sucks to have to chop up a brand new $300 rear fender
