Have any of you ever seen or used centramatic wheel balancers? I seen them in a magazine i have.Looked pretty expensive though. I seen them for the Goldwing and some harleys but not for a Roadstar.Just curious

Re:Dyna Beads 6 Years ago
I tried some of those years ago on a car. The drawback to them is they have to be heavier than just the beads because the balancing action is so far from the outside circumference of the tire. Also, they won't correct the dynamic imbalance that can happen on wider rims. But then the beads won't either.

For a given imbalance it takes less weight to correct the closer the weight is to the outside of the tire. ie: a half ounce at the rim might just be 1/4 ounce if using a patch weight.

Re:Dyna Beads 6 Years ago
I went to the Dynabeads locate a dealer website and looked for local dealers. I found one, a general auto repair place that sells them in 8 oz bags for $18. Great deal compared with getting 4 oz for $20+.

Try it, saved me some cash and I have 4 oz left to use next time.
