Nope, too small. The updated 3.0 grizzly valve part # is noted in blue in the tech articles pumpless writeup.

I just did the pumpless mod on a bike this week. I used the grizzly 3.0 (chose not to vent the cap as I feel the tank vent tube/rollover valve should be enough). Perfect. No issues.

I believe the original grizzly valve was 2.5. You may be fine with the 2.3, but for $19 I "Know" it works fine.

Did you mean the original Road Star valve was a 2.0?

Oops. Fat fingers. I meant 2.5 (Original Grizzly Mod). That's why I said the 2.3 may work, but for $19 (at my local dealer) it wasn't worth the struggles other have gone through. The new 3.0 works perfect.

The Grizzly has always been a 3.0 every since I first posted it here. The expensive Suzuki valve was a choice between a 2.3 and a 2.5.

Like they say 3.0 grizley and remove the rollover valve and join the 2 hoses with a piece of pipe, when you ditch the pump there will be a piece of pipe to use, then under the chrome bit on the tank there is a breather pipe that goes to the rollover valve, best to remove the tank and drill into the steel pipe coming out of the tank, it has a spring and ball to stop the tank venting to air, drill in horizontal and vertical to get those bits out then flush the tank, you can put grease on the drill and that will hold most of the steel bits off the drill and you will be right forever
