curious guys fill me in. i have a 99 roadstar 1600 stock air box, stock carb, and freedom true duals. my question is..... what are the benefits of the hsr45 vs stock? like better or worse gas mileage. power increase, throttle response, and whats all needed to make this swap work. i mean i would prolly go ahead and port my intake, and run and k an n chrom filter and housing but i mean i see alot of guys doing it so it must be good. so fill me in....

Regarding throttle response on the HSR. A key note, the throttle valve (or slide) is directly connected to the throttle cable on an HSR. On the OEM Carb, it's driven by a vacuum. Thus, throttle response is instant on an HSR vs OEM.
