Ok guys, this is it for me lol! Thursday and Saturday routes will be up to yall and someone else will have to lead. I have covered some good routes North, South, and West. Maybe a couple eastern routes would be cool like off the blueridge parkway or whatever yall want.

Looks like wife isnt coming or if she does decided to come it will just be saturday and we will be coming home on sunday so all is good!

Edit: One thing I would like to add, the friday route will be one of the nicest and hit most of the really popular roads like the dragon and the skyway. I really hope that EVERYONE makes it there by at least thursday night so that we can all do the ride together. By Saturday, these roads get too busy so friday would be the best day to do them before the crowds come.

Just reposting some of this stuff instead of trying to dig through the thread for it lol

So I was talking to another member about our Smoky Mountain Meet and something came up that I thought was really interesting. I guess there is a "reservation" from some members to come hang out with us for the week because of all of the talk of aggressive riding and stuff.

I just wanted to kinda put some minds at ease and let everyone know that we definitely have a range of riders with different skill levels and everyone gets along great! We do have a more aggressive group that leads the ride, we have a middle of the road pack that kinda stays in the middle, and a MUCH SLOWER pack that follows in the back. We always stop in EVERY turn to let the other group catch up and everyone from every skill level can feel comfortable with whatever riding style they are comfortable with.

Its really a fantastic week, Its hard to find another place in this country that offers so much for bikers in general as far as roads riding and scenery. We had about 20 or so people attend last year. Looks like mostly all of them will be back and looking forward to putting a face to some screen names of new comers this year!

Grant

Grant is referring to me - I'm the "Slower Pack" LOL.... and yes the guys wait for me. It's a great ride, great group and lots of fun. Wouldn't miss it. Meetin' y'all in Birmingham and yes, the foot finally healed

BTW Grant, new bike looks sweet....

After riding with the idiots I did yesterday I'd 10 to 1 ride with this group because they know how to ride.

I'm gonna PM Messer to add my name + my brother to the list of attendees. I'm looking for work presently, so I may have to adjust my schedule on the fly, but I know how great the roads and scenery there are and how great the RSC members are too, so it's a no-brainer to try to make it.

I'll next be making room or camping arrangements.

Looking forward to this very much.
