Oh yea, gotta ride that!!! Gus and I may end up catching it on our way up to Bryson City on Tuesday if we come a day earlier and are leaving from Birmingham, AL Tuesday morning
Let me know Monday if you want to ride it and I'll ride down and meet yall.
How about you meet us in Birmingham on Monday Preston? We could go to the Barber motorcycle Museum. Sleep in Birmingham monday night and then ride up through north GA and hit some of the GA mountains and then Helen, GA for a late lunch before we head up to Bryson that evening.
Kyle and Greg if y'all wanted to meet us on monday also that would be great! If you guys have never been to the motorcycle museum its just a must see, absolutely amazing!
Thinking about it actually. Do you know where you're staying in Birmingham yet?
This is the one I was looking at, it's a hampton inn like 5 minutes from barber motorsports. Free breakfast in the AM which is great.
Also, we would be on the east side of Birmingham away from the traffic in the morning and only about 200 miles away from Dahlonega, GA which is the start of the loop around the Georgia Dragon! Possibly our route for tuesday
All right. I'm pretty close to being in for this also. I'd probably ride in to Birmingham on Sunday so I can spend more time at the museum on Monday. It's a long haul from Ottawa Lake, MI to Birmingham, AL
I'll let you know for sure when I've finalized the plans for Sunday/Monday
Sounds like a plan.... 1050 miles on the way down, probably leave Saturday morning and spend Sunday night in Birmingham (or close to it.) I'll check to see if Harold (Questcap) is also planning to make the trek this year. My only wrinkle is the Primary Day for state and local political races in NYS is Sept 13, If I don't have any candidates in primaries, I'm good. Gettin' jazzed!

As soon as my turn to sign up for time off comes around again I'll add Sunday and Monday (I work the weekend before the meet) and if everything goes right on Monday I'll be having...
It's funny what started as a 3 Day meet tuned into a 7 day event lol

I can vote absentee, however, I'm a political consultant on 4 campaigns and managing a NYS Assembly candidate.... (unless my guy decides not to run, then I become the candidate -- and also will be divorced.)
Should know the status by end of July....

Messer wrote: Only a 6 hour ride. What time does the museum open?
The Museum opens up for 10am. Gus and I will probably hit the road for around 5 or 6 am. We should be in the museum no later than 12 noon but probably earlier. See yall there
