Stayed over at my place last night. While they were there, they helped (ok, I watched and grilled) install my Harley fairing. That took about 4 hours as we made small mods, soldered bullet connectors to wires, added 12v outlets and replaced the risers and bars.

The bike looks awesome and I wished I had put one on sooner!!! Thanks guys!!! Safe journey home!

Did you get it to work with your light bar?

I was so tired, I didn't take photos last night. I'll snap a couple at lunch and post.



Marty, no. I didn't use the light bar. The fairing came (thanks Lubama) with a sweet set of HD chrome turns.

My friend and I had a really good time on the ride. We parted ways from the group after the memorial. We headed south on 42 and cruised home slowly along the lakeshore drive. Wish we could have spent more time with the crew. But gas prices being what they are, didn't have a lot of fuel money to burn. Not sure how I wound up in the #3 spot on the ride out to the memorial but was pretty cool for my first group ride. Also, SOOO glad we missed the rain there. Would have been a pretty cold and soggy ride home otherwise. I hope to meet more of the clinic riders soon.

Did Smokescreens make it home? He was traveling North over the Upper Peninsula. ???
