Checking in. Steph and I made it home safe and sound, if not dry. 50 miles from the house the bottom dropped out. I figured we had a chance for rain at the beginning and end of the ride. We did what we could to avoid the rain at the beginning by leaving rather early, but couldn't do much for the end since it was already late and I wasn't gonna sit somewhere for another hour or two for it to pass. Besides if it had to be one or the other, I'd rather it be when it was 72 degrees instead of 52!

Gotta take this chance and say a BIG thanks to everyone that made this weekend such a blast!
Don (Darn) and Jim (Jeckes) and I'm sure others that I don't know about, for setting up the M&G, the ride Saturday, the BBQ and all of that. GREAT JOB GUYS! Thanks!

Darryl (Emu@oz) for coming up with the idea for the RSC brick at the Wisconsin Motorcycle Memorial, and the heartfelt reading of the fallen, a very moving and memorable moment. Thanks!

Kyle (Chief802) for getting us set up in Ottawa and the (almost) carefree ride up on Friday. (Which, by the way, was my first 'group' ride.) Thanks!

Jim (Warden) for winning the sheep, otherwise it would have been me...and no, you're probably not going to hear the end of this for at least a year, give or take a M&G or two. THANKS!!!!!

And to everyone else at the ride, thanks for making our first (but definitely not last) M&G such a blast!

I made it home safe and sound as well......a little soaked, but safe and in one piece.

I would like to extend my appreciation and thanks to Darn and Jeckes and anyone else that had anything to do with the M&G.

I would say it was definitely a success, AND it was definitely the largest turn out so far.

Now.....WHERE is the M&G for next spring?????

We are up and getting around to head east! I want to thank everyone for an awesome time. It was great to meet a bunch of new people and put names to faces.

Also want to thank Jim (warden) for letting us stay making some killer ribs and chicken! Thanks again Jim!

I will get all the pictures loaded up that i have later this evening hopefully.

Stayed over at my place last night. While they were there, they helped (ok, I watched and grilled) install my Harley fairing. That took about 4 hours as we made small mods, soldered bullet connectors to wires, added 12v outlets and replaced the risers and bars.

The bike looks awesome and I wished I had put one on sooner!!! Thanks guys!!! Safe journey home!
