Finally got the ISO grips and Throttle Boss put on today. Easy install if you have the right tools. I can't believe all the negative reviews based solely on difficulty of installation Must be a lot of ham fisted hacks out there

A zip tie tool like in the pics below made it easy as pie. Wonder if installing them in 30° temps and heating up the ISO grips helped also? It sure didn't hurt.

Took it for a ride also. Gotta turn the heated grips up a little higher but they still work just fine. It's about 40° out right now so once I got past the ice in my driveway it wasn't a bad ride. These are a game changer because I have rather large paws. They feel really big and are very comfortable. The throttle boss is a must have from now on for a touring/street bike. Right hand used to go numb pretty quick, especially in cooler temps. Not now. Feels great

Yes. Mine has factory heated grips. Gotta run them a setting or so higher than you normally would but they still work fine. Just get the ISO grips made for heated grips and they have a little cut-out where the heated grip wire goes.

I had my grips set on the highest setting and could feel the warmth very well thru my snowmobile gloves. About 40°F out for the ride I went on today

Before, I could never use the highest setting because they were too warm

Good to know I hate how small the grips are.

Deer Killer ya might give ultimate a call I heard from a wing rider that they build a seat that helps us tall guys out by kickin the seat back a inch or so don't quote me but a toll free call will firm it up and by the way nice ride

I knew you'd love them once you had them! They've made my heated grips more useful too.

And I agree with your 1st post that the bad reviews seem a bit much. I didn't think they were to bad and I even had to trim down the diameter on the stock Victory grips.

Enjoy!

Ok. The seat on this thing is officially the worst torture device known to mankind. It's 100 times worse than the stock Roadstar seat. Put the Utopia backrest on and it's only marginally better. 30 minutes on this thing yesterday and I still feel the bruise on my a$$

Gotta figure something out. Been looking at the Russell. Ain't no cheap options but that one seems to be the best. Other than the fact that I lose the ability to ride the bike for a couple weeks while the seat is being made.

Still liking the rest of it though. Power is great. She likes to run a tad wide in corners. Not sure if a suspension tweak will help or if that's just the nature of this 850lb beast

Deerkiller,

I found the ultimate combination for mine. Mustang seat and Helibars. I'm telling you, a whole different riding experience. I took it out yesterday on a nice ride with MJ Score for the first time with the setup. Best money I've ever spent.

Seat definitely looks different. I'm actually fine with the bars the way they are. Stock seat puts a huge amount of pressure directly on my tail bone it seems. Can you put a back rest on that seat you have?
