Howdy,

New to the forum and thought I would post an issue I have recently noticed to see if anyone might be able to pin point the problem. I have a 2003 Road Star and upon deacceleration under load (in gear running on compression) it makes a small quick squeaking sound only the the throttle is rolled back to its forward most position. It does not do this parked in neutral nor does it do this rolling down the highway with the clutch pulled in. Only under load. Any suggestions?

Check belt tension, probably needs to be tightened.

I am thinking it could be your drive belt tension.
